Your tax deductible donation will help the Red Ribbon Project continue to provide essential services, such as free HIV testing and medical cost coverage, to men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Eagle County.  In addition, donations help support the Project’s  educational programs that teach local children about behavior that will not only lessen their chances of contracting HIV/AIDS and other prevalent STDs, but also decrease their risk of facing unwanted pregnancies, drug addiction, depression, suicide, alcohol abuse, and incarceration.

•    Condom Distribution  

There are many types of gifts you may donate to the Red Ribbon Project:

 Cash – The most common type of gift is cash. An immediate gift of cash provides us with the ability to pay current operating expenses.

 Securities – Appreciate securities such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds are also accepted.  Their full fair market value is deductible as a charitable contribution up to 30% of your adjusted gross income.

 In-Kind – We welcome in-kind contributions of program/medical supplies or other contributions that meet a specific need for the Red Ribbon Project.
 
 Bequests and Planned Gifts – Leave a legacy by including Red Ribbon Project in your will or estate plans.

 Pledges – We recognize that many people are able to make an even greater impact if they spread their contributions out over a number of years. We accept pledges for payment of gifts over multiple years, not to exceed five years.

You may also want to learn about the *Colorado Child Care Tax Credit. If you are a resident of Colorado, your gift to Red Ribbon Project may qualify for the Colorado Child Care Tax Credit.  Details are as follows:

•    Your donation still qualifies as a charitable deduction on your federal income tax
•    Minimum qualifying contribution is $500
•    Maximum qualifying contribution is $100,000
•    Both individual and corporate donors can benefit from this tax credit program
